TORN!!!!

Aaargh!

Went to see the beautiful Fountains Abbey on Wednesday!

Lovely building to get married in at Fountains Hall, and the ruined Abbey would provide a stunning backdrop for photos!

Only thing that I'm not so keen on is the evening reception venue which is a bit modern.

They're holding a wedding fair there soon where the rooms will be set up for a wedding so we'll have to go along and get a better idea of what it would look like.

I still love Allerton Castle so we're going to see that next wednesday to see what Simon thinks.

Allerton castle

Went to look at the stunning Allerton Castle on sunday, it is a beautiful building with amazing interiors and a really comfortable feel.

I like it a lot! Mum and Dad seem to approve, just need to take Simon to have a look.

Newburgh Priory

Going to look at Newburgh Priory this morning!
No idea about costs etc cos we haven't seen the wedding pack yet, but it looks lovely so worth a look anyway. :)
Will be taking pics and will post on FB
Also got M&D coming over tonight to talk turkey!

Welcome to my Bridezilla Blog!

I will update this page regularly with info on how my diet and wedding planning is going!

As you probably know, Simon and I are planning to get married in July 2012, which at the moment seems so far away, and the way I'm going I'll have it all planned in 6 months and have to spend 18 months twiddling my thumbs!

I love planning stuff so this is my perfect project! That's partly why I wanted to make it 2012 - I've waited 10 years for Simon to pop the question, and I want to take my time over planning the wedding so it's perfect for us.

Another reason is that I want to lose at least 3 stone before I start looking at dresses, so 2 years it is!

Anyway, now I'm rambling! I'll keep you posted.
